How can we thank God for our challenges and allow Him to use them for His glory?
Why does it seen that no matter how much we try not to worry, we worry? I'm learning, slowly, but still learning, that it's a simple matter of trust. I trust more in my own abilities to handle things than I do in God's ability. And that's where I get into trouble.
We must strap on faith and face the future! Only God can bring purpose and peace into the lives of these people we live around in Mexico. He chose us to do it through! But we're useless if we don't have the faith needed to trust Him to do the work.
I don't know about you, but I tend to run from the insecurity and fear of the unknown ahead of me. I fear what may be unpleasant about what I can't see. But that's a trick of the devil... don't fall for it! He has everything to gain when we fear and lack faith in our mighty God.
