#6 of 10 Steps to Meeting Your Challenge

God is always in the middle of our challenge. He’s always with us in our circumstance. And all that God is, and does, is good.

As many say, “God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.”

“You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.” Psalm 119:68

I simply love this verse!

Sure, there are times when we wonder why times have to be so difficult.

But I’m convinced that the Lord always places good where we only see bad. Sometimes, we just have to look for it.

What I didn’t realize I would miss as much though is my church family, the people that shared a place of worship with us. People that we sat around and shared with about what God was doing in our lives.

IMG_6181Since we’ve lived in Mexico, God has reminded me to look for His goodness, and rest in it. He’s reminded me that He’s always in the middle of my challenge.

While I do really miss friends at our church in the U.S., God has given us a church in Mexico where we are building new relationships. And when we travel to other states to train churches in how to make disciples, we form even more relationships.

Yes, the Lord always places good where we only see bad. We just need to look for it. And He’s always walking through the middle of it with us.

IMG_6171The problems we experience in our lives can be very challenging. But God says that they are good for us. He tells us to have hope in Him. Those challenges make our faith stronger, build our character, give us a basis on which to help others, and they get us ready for future rewards in heaven.

Now, that’s God’s goodness!
